Team Bios
Donna Orban
Donna Orban has a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science / Information Systems earned from Michigan Technological University. She has over 10 years of experience in directing the design, development and delivery of complex IT solutions for various industries. She has been a senior manager for fortune 500 companies such as Oracle and GE.
Donna currently works for Genuine Parts Corporation as the Strategic Design Manager. In this position Donna directs the design and implementation of the new strategic web initiatives within the Auto Parts Group for store operations.
Donna is currently working towards the completion of her Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University. Completion is expected in May of 2011.
Tom Sweeney
Tom Sweeney has 18+ years of experience in logistics management and start-up operations. He has held numerous positions with the following companies: Menlo Worldwide Logistics- Electrolux, GE Polymerland, Cardinal Logistics-Textron Automotive Corp., and Stevedoring Services of America. Prior to Co-Founding V-Chain Solutions, Inc., he was the logistics manager for the largest manufacturing facility, of kitchen ranges, in North America. Throughout his career he has developed cost cutting strategies that have saved companies millions in supply chain costs. He has developed logistic software programs that resulted in the optimization of communication between company departments. In addition to my U.S experience, He was a member of a team of U.S. consultants who, in 1996, established the largest container terminal in the country of Panama (Manzanillo International Terminal). He also served in the Army National Guard during Desert Storm and afterwards with the Navy Reserve, totaling over 10 years of service while simultaneously working for SSA and Cardinal Logistics. Tom has a BBA in Logistics and expects to receive his MBA in Entrepreneurship in 2012.
Bilal Taylor
Bilal Taylor has a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing earned from Norfolk State University. He has worked in various commercial printing organizations performing the role of Account Manager and Estimator. He has been responsible for implementing marketing strategies, pricing and production schedules within this industry.
Bilal currently works for Genuine Parts Corporation as a Technical Writer. In this position Bilal assists with design, creative, writing and maintenance of technical documentation. The User Interface Design documents (UID’s) are produced for the operational and functionality of internal management systems within the IT department.
Bilal is currently working towards the completion of his Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University. Completion is expected in May of 2011.
