Roberto Alfaro
A current MBA candidate at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Mr. Alfaro has a BA in Business Administration. His experiences as a Manager at Deloitte have given him detailed knowledge in developing and improving operational processes, manage a multi-billion dollar liquidation project, sell clients new services, manage projects domestically and internationally in Asia, Europe, and South America, and gain experience in the financial industry. Mr. Alfaro has also worked internationally, specifically in Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Peru.
Frederick Kuo, M.D.
Dr. Kuo has a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and he received his M.D. from UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is currently pursuing an MBA with concentrations in Health Sector Management and Finance. Prior to Fuqua, Fred worked as an Internal Medicine physician and a Hospitalist, and he is also currently a Hospitalist at Durham Regional Hospital. Fred has also worked as an associate at UBS Investment Bank’s Global Health Care Group.
Business Summary
Camras Vision is working to develop and commercialize a radical new technology for halting the loss of vision experienced by glaucoma sufferers. This revolutionary device, the Camras Shunt, exceeds the ability of current prescription drug therapies and surgical treatments to achieve the first precise eye pressure control. This device is patented and animal trials have successfully provided a proof of concept.
